I chose not to have a separate notes database because it is more convenient and easier to have notes and resources stored in one database for capturing and retrieving them.
I am also adopting this approach for my other template, Second Brain template. I would love to hear more thoughts on this matter, whether this intention makes sense for you or that you see more benefit in having separate databases for notes and resources.
